KUCHING: State deputy director of Information Sharifah Mariam Syed Dawilah yesterday called on audio visual technicians to give their best service when providing the public address system at official functions.
She said this year would be another busy year for the department so they must ensure the equipment for the sound system was also in tip-top condition.
Mariam was speaking at the closing of a three-day Audio Balancing Workshop for the department’s 24 audio visual technicians at its office at Jalan Bako near here.
She said as the equipment belong to the government, they must be well managed to render them useable at any time.
She also reminded them to apply whatever knowledge imparted to them at the workshop.
The course taught technicians to operate and manage sophisticated sound equipment.
Among the topics delivered by Razman Ariffin from the Ministry of Social Development and Urbanisation were ‘Headroom Resolution’, ‘Introduction to EQ’, ‘Ear Training’, and ‘Art of Audio Balancing’.
